What is the difference between BMCC’s ‘Worship Hall’ and Sunday Service? The Sunday service includes preaching, liturgy, and worship; the Worship Hall is a fully immersive evening of song, music, and free prayer. Starting September, every Thursday at 7:30 p.m. — a streamside place of rest, or renewed strength, in community.

Wooven, the first Hong Kong company committed to supporting LGBTQ+ mental health services, pledges support for BMCC’s training of counsellors in affirmative therapy. Half of Wooven’s profits go to social justice. Founder Alan Hau, a survivor of conversion therapy, sees Hong Kong’s urgent need for safe, effective counselling — given how few resources currently exist.

BMCC’s Gender Diversity Workshop Series, funded by the Equal Opportunities (Sexual Orientation) Funding Scheme. Four batches of three-session workshops led by Dr. Jason Ho (HKU Faculty of Education), centred on interactive activities, role-play, and forum theatre. Topics include the challenges social ideologies pose to sexual minorities; participants deepen their understanding of diversity, equality, and civil society.
