Spiritual Direction is how we, as Christians, rely on our faith to help us navigate each stage of life. When our lives aren’t going well, we pray and ask God for help, but our faith offers more than just petitions — it encompasses a broader spiritual world.

Service Content
Objective: Assist directees in discovering, attending to, and responding positively to God’s presence in daily life.
Target Audience: Christians desiring to live fully human lives in God’s love, regardless of gender, age, race, or sexual orientation.
Spiritual Directors: We have directors of various qualifications. A free initial consultation will be arranged before a suitable director is assigned.

Complete the application form, and we will contact you for a free 15–30-minute intake session to understand your needs and help you learn more about us.
Spiritual Direction Application Process
- If you wish to apply for spiritual direction, please complete the registration form above.
- You will receive a WhatsApp message or phone call within 7 days to confirm the intake, including an explanation of what spiritual direction is and an understanding of your needs.
- The intake process takes approximately 15–30 minutes and is free of charge.
- If you have not received a notification within 7 days, or have missed it, please WhatsApp or call 5668 6934 to make arrangements.
- If during the intake or session process a spiritual director assesses that the directee requires collaboration with other professionals or crisis intervention, the director will offer the option of seeking more appropriate help and make a referral.
- After acceptance, the church will assign a suitable spiritual director and formally schedule sessions.
Confidentiality Agreement
- All spiritual directors and volunteers strictly adhere to the professional confidentiality principles of spiritual direction, governed by privacy regulations, to protect directees’ privacy from disclosure or misuse.
- However, confidentiality does not cover emergencies or serious situations involving self-harm, harm to others, or illegal activities. Spiritual directors will notify other professionals as needed to ensure safety.
Session Duration
9. Each session is generally 1 hour, with a maximum extension to 1.5 hours in special circumstances. Sessions exceeding 1.5 hours will be counted as two sessions.
Session Fees
- Under normal circumstances, a qualified spiritual director charges HK$1,200/hour and a trainee director charges HK$600/hour, though fees may be negotiated in special cases.
- Fees are non-refundable once paid.
Attendance Commitment
- Directees are kindly requested to attend sessions punctually. To reschedule, please WhatsApp 9607 0732 at least one working day in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice without medical or other relevant documentation will be charged in full as an administrative fee.
- If a directee cancels on the same day or fails to attend without notice more than three times, the church reserves the right to unilaterally terminate the provision of spiritual direction.
- If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or a Red or Black Rainstorm Warning is in effect two hours before the scheduled session, the session will be cancelled. The spiritual director or a volunteer will contact you to reschedule.
