BMCC Has New Missionaries
Blessed by the Lord and in response to His calling, with the joint commissioning by Rev. Grace Bok of One Body in Christ Church (眾樂教會) and Rev. Ngeo Boon Lin of the All Souls Bethlehem Church (United Church of Christ), BMCC has two new missionaries: Su Chin Pang and Cheng Tsz-hong (Pastor Hong).
They will pour Christ’s love into the heart of every believer. We give thanks for them — for their faith in Christ’s love, and for what they have given for the church’s mission.
Their responsibilities grow heavier, taking on every kind of calling. They must not only continue to cultivate their personal relationship with the Lord and the human soul, but also pay attention to issues of social justice, and ensure that the church always keeps the importance of spreading the gospel at heart. On the road ahead, there will be times they feel weary beyond bearing — but their faith will always uphold them, carrying them forward.
In 1 Kings chapter 19, the angel of the Lord gently woke the weary Elijah and reminded him: “Get up and eat! For the journey is too much for you.” The angel encouraged his body with food, and comforted his spirit with a gentle touch and an embrace. So too can the congregation of the church express our support to them with warmth and love, especially in their times of weariness. The Lord’s love and the care between members will always be with them.
In this warm-hearted church, where love and care intertwine, a landscape of gentleness must surely take shape. In Christ’s love, may we walk hand in hand and grow together.
When we step boldly forward, may we ask the Lord for help; when our hearts are weary, may we ask the Lord for help.
At the same time, from the bottom of our hearts we give thanks to the many churches, LGBTQ+ organisations, and dear friends for their blessings.
May the Lord bless Blessed Ministry Community Church (BMCC).
