The gospel began to break through language, ethnicity, and geography. The sermon also remembers June 4th and the mainland Chinese churches under persecution — calling for the Spirit’s light to preserve historical truth.

Jason Ho on Psalm 119:129-136 and BMCC’s view of Scripture: the Bible is humanity’s response to encountering God, including the authors’ own subjective takes. Slow down, savour heartbeat and breath, add more moments of connection with the Lord — and when temptation comes, perhaps we can sweep it away in a moment.

Doubt is not necessarily disobedience; without doubt, no one would have perceived the patriarchal frame of Scripture, and no LGBTQ+-affirming church would exist.
