25th Anniversary — BMCC’s ‘I Have a Story’ Exhibition

This August 12, we will be hosting an exhibition titled ‘I Have a Story’ at the KUC Space, beside Kowloon Union Church, for three weeks. The content looks back on lesser-known stories and events from BMCC’s twenty-five years — through text, photographs, objects, and other materials, each unique life-testimony presented in the exhibition.

Michael Lai founded BMCC twenty-five years ago (then the Religion Group of the Ten Percent Club), while serving as Chair of the Ten Percent Club. From the 1990s into the new millennium, he stood at the front — unafraid to let the world see. The Apple Daily 1996 front-page headline ‘Christians Establish BMCC’ carried great pressure behind it. The exhibition tells the stories behind those headlines.
