Jason Ho on Mark 10:14-16 — ‘let the little children come to me.’ A queer reading: the Kingdom belongs to those society marginalises and dismisses. Children, queer folk, the displaced — Jesus draws them close. To enter the Kingdom is to receive it like one of these.

Mr. Wong Tin-sang on John 21:1-14. After the crucifixion the disciples return to fishing — to old patterns, to disappointment. The risen Christ meets them on the shore, calls them to cast again, fills the empty net. Courage to set out anew is born in the encounter with Christ.

Lead pastor on 2 Timothy 1:1-8, Ephesians 4:2, and 1 Peter 2:21. Christian perseverance is not the absence of mistakes but the choice to keep walking through them. Faith is forged in failure as much as in faithfulness, and Christ’s example is to bear with one another in love.
