Doubt is not necessarily disobedience; without doubt, no one would have perceived the patriarchal frame of Scripture, and no LGBTQ+-affirming church would exist. As Hong Kong’s religious freedom tightens, can we still hear Christ’s blessing: ‘Peace be with you’?
