Welcome to Blessed Ministry Community Church (BMCC) — Hong Kong’s first LGBTQ+ affirming Christian church, founded in 1992. Sunday worship services welcome believers and seekers alike, regardless of background. Cantonese, English, and sign-language interpretation are available. Whether you are a longtime member or a first-time visitor, you are warmly invited.

We believe in God, the Almighty Creator. God makes life of diversity in God’s own image and deems everyone good. People of all sexualities, races, classes, and ages shall live abundantly with love and justice.

BMCC’s collection of faith resources for LGBTQ+ Christians wrestling with common questions: Does the Bible really say homosexuality is a sin? On what basis can we say otherwise? Articles, sermons, scholarly references, and pastoral reflections responding to traditional anti-LGBTQ+ readings of Scripture.

Join us for any events and volunteer or serve. Your support in any form or capacity is welcome and motivates us to continue our mission.  

BMCC’s history and milestones

BMCC rents out five rooms — the Sanctuary, Big Function Room, Pantry Room, and two Counselling Rooms — for events from 9am to 10pm daily, with a maximum capacity of 60 people. Renters apply via the online form; reduced rates are available for organisations serving the LGBTQ community.

Parties seeking to interview BMCC apply via the executive committee with organisation, purpose, date, format, and contact details. Media partners apply at least one month ahead; students at least two weeks. Approved interviewers sign a privacy agreement protecting members’ identities and the conditions of recording.
