Venue Rental

BMCC rents out five rooms — the Sanctuary, Big Function Room, Pantry Room, and two Counselling Rooms — for events from 9am to 10pm daily, with a maximum capacity of 60 people. Renters apply via the online form; reduced rates are available for organisations serving the LGBTQ community.

Parties seeking to interview BMCC apply via the executive committee with organisation, purpose, date, format, and contact details. Media partners apply at least one month ahead; students at least two weeks. Approved interviewers sign a privacy agreement protecting members’ identities and the conditions of recording.

Wooven Supports BMCC for LGBTI Mental Health

April 4, 2018, Hong Kong — Wooven, the first Hong Kong company committed to supporting LGBTQ+ mental health services, pledges support for BMCC’s training of counsellors in affirmative therapy. Half of Wooven’s profits go toward social justice causes. Founder Alan Hau, a conversion-therapy survivor, sees an urgent need for safe, effective counselling in Hong Kong.
