GSKL (Good Samaritan Kuala Lumpur) — Malaysia’s only openly affirming LGBTQ+ church — launches ‘The Roof’ Project, a fundraising campaign for an inclusive community shelter and safe space. Goal: RM 700,000 (≈HKD 1.33M). Donations can be made through BMCC for a Hong Kong tax receipt. The Roof will provide queer emergency shelter, Satir counselling, workshops, retreats, and gathering space — sheltering those threatened by Malaysia’s recent crackdown.
